Born in Turin (Italy), sometimes in the 20sth Century.
I can’t remember when I started drawing, I guess more or less at the same time when I started walking.
During my last year at the Fine Art Academy in the school for painting I started to miss a different dimension. It was time to change the support trough which produce images. Rather than canvas, I bypassed sculpture to choose directly the body.
Performance, Theatre, Dance were the answers. It took time for me to understand that there is no border between them. Now is one of my strong beliefs, but when I started I was solely seeking movement as a collision to reality.
I had the fortune to meet other artists and to collaborate with many of them, that allowed me to grow and transform my understanding of acting. I learned how to build a knowledge outside the institutions following the teachers I wanted to study with.
The body as a battleground for a ill society was a milestone of my research. I tend to be autobiographical in my playing, because I want to talk about something I really experienced. But my aim is to find a way that makes my experience resonate to that of the audience. My goal is to stage situations in which me and the audience can share a non daily life situation that is yet authentic and real.
The space and the controversy perception of it as place and environment play always a role in what I chose to be the focus of my creation. The need to know where a performance, a play or an installation take place is as important as the story I want to tell.
Lately I re-discovered the painting and the potential of drawing related to the actor’s work. The following years will be dedicated to merge this two different disciplines (theatre and painting) with the pursuit of finding ways in which drawing the stage will happen simultaneously with the play.

Non ricordo quando cominciai a disegnare, ma credo sia stato più o meno nello stesso momento in cui ho cominciai a camminare.
Durante il mio ultimo anno alla scuola di Pittura dell’Accademia di Belle Arti, ho cominciato a sentire la mancanza di una dimensione diversa. Era arrivato il tempo di cambiare il supporto sul quale produrre immagini, piuttosto che la tela. Ho scavalcato la scultura e sono giunta direttamente a scegliere il corpo.
La Performance, la Danza e il Teatro furono le risposte. Mi ci è voluto tempo per capire che non ci sono confini tra queste discipline. Adesso è qualcosa a cui credo fermamente, ma quando ho cominciato cercavo solamente il movimento come collisione con la realtà.
Ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare artisti diversi e di collaborare con molti di loro. Questo mi ha permesso di crescere e di trasformare la mia idea di essere attore. Ho imparato a costruire una conoscenza al di fuori delle istituzioni, seguendo i maestri dai quali desideravo imparare.
Il corpo quale campo di battaglia per una società malata è stata una pietra miliare della mia ricerca. Tendo ad essere autobiografica nei pezzi che creo, poiché voglio parlare di cose delle quali ho esperienza. Desidero trovare un veicolo attraverso il quale la mia esperienza possa risuonare in quella del pubblico. Il mio fine è mettere in scena situazioni nelle quali sia io che il pubblico possiamo condividere una situazione non quotidiana, che sia al contempo autentica e reale.
Lo spazio e la percezione controversa di questo come luogo e ambiente giocano un ruolo importantissimo quando scelgo su cosa focalizzare la mia creazione. Il bisogno di sapere dove una performance o un’installazione avrà luogo è altrettanto importante quanto la storia che desidero raccontare.
Ultimamente ho riscoperto il potenziale del disegno in relazione con il lavoro attoriale. I prossimi anni saranno dedicati a trovare modi per fondere queste due discipline (teatro e pittura) al fine di rendere possibile il disegnare la scena contemporaneamente allo sviluppo della messa in scena.
